Cultus Lake is another special place we try to go during our summer retreats to Central Oregon.  Although we initially decided to forego it until next year, since Delaney is still so young, in the end we were unable to resist.  It was worth the trip.  Delaney enjoyed stretching on the beach while the kids played in the swim area; we went for a walk through the near-empty campground while a distant thunderstorm threatened rain.  Fortunately, it stayed far enough away where we were able to enjoy the thunder without getting wet.  Special times at a special place.  Definitely, our One Particular Harbor.
