This weekend, the kids enjoyed a fun weekend with their dad, while I took a mini vacation with some special friends. Even for myself, it’s not easy to spend even a full day without at least some help, much less the entire weekend! So, I think he deserves a very special, appreciative mention. Despite having a wonderful time away, I did miss everyone terribly. Fortunately, Rick also periodically provided with some pictures, giving me a small glimpse into their days. Here are a few that made me smile and eased my concerns. And, although I know that we all prefer to be together, it does appear that they can get along quite well without me—probably better than I can get along without them!
