Enchanted Forest

Yesterday, the kids enjoyed their annual trip to the Enchanted Forest with Grandma and Grandpa.  They had so much fun walking the Storybook Lane, exploring the Western Town and English Village, and going on lots and lots of rides!  Although not their first visit to the park, there were a number of firsts, including Franny’s first trip through the Haunted House and Cole’s first time down the Big Timber Log Ride!  Also, it was Delaney’s first time on everything, and there wasn’t anything she didn’t like.  Her favorite, however, was the Frog Hopper, which she rode probably close to 15 times!  They all had such an amazing time!  It is so special to them to spend this time with their Grandma and Grandpa—they have talked about this day for the last year!  And, they are so fortunate to have a grandpa who will brave the bobsleds, as well as everything else they want to do and see; I saw plenty of grandparents at the Enchanted Forest, but not many in line to take on the steep drop of the Big Timber Log Ride!   There are just a handful of days that the kids talk about all year round, and it is no wonder that this is one of them.  It was special day, full of fun, and they had an incredible time!
