Last week, Cole had a full week of Penguin Camp at the Zoo!  Each day include a tour of animals in the zoo that all move in similar ways, planned activities and projects, an animal visitor (Critter Chat) and songs and games revolving around the them of “animals in motion”.  Cole had a great time—he and a friend from preschool signed up together and according to the camp staff, they were virtually inseparable during the course of the camp!  Unlike Franny, who attended the full-day camp the week before, Cole’s camp was for the morning only, which was a perfect duration for him.  He had tons of fun, but never got too tired or burned out where he didn’t want to come the next day.  It was a really great experience for him, and I would be very surprised if he didn’t want to do it again next year!
