I kept the enormous box from our new media console, thinking we would find something fun to do with it.  Today, we finally put it to good use.  I traced the kids’ bodies and let them create their own self-portraits.  Franny went to work on hers right away, and spent quite a bit of time on it.  I love the way it turned out!  Cole finally got intrigued and started working on his right before bedtime, so I am hopeful he will eventually finish his.  It was definitely a fun and relaxing way to spend our afternoon.
