Delaney is the youngest member of the Trio, but she tries hard to act in line with Franny.  It doesn’t matter what it is, she wants to be hanging with the big kids.  She has to eat what they eat, with a plate and a fork or spoon.  If they are sitting in chairs, that is where she wants to be.  If they are running around acting silly and yelling Go Ducks, Go!, she is running around just like them and yelling something that sounds remarkably close to the same.  When we take Cole to school, she screams and cries when she isn’t allowed to stay.  Delaney wants to be wherever they are doing whatever they are doing, and anything less evokes a most emphatic protest.  She is a remarkable little girl, but she is growing up much too quickly—although I am sure that she thinks quite the opposite!
