For over a year now, Franny has clung to the Hanna Andersson catalogs that come to the house—how we initially started receiving them, I am not really certain, but they are her favorite, hands down.  She knows all the outfits and merchandise inside and out, and she shares her favorites with us on a regular basis.  

Several weeks ago, Franny received a letter from her Grandma asking what she would like for her birthday.  It didn’t take long for Franny to determine what she wanted, and from that moment on she never waivered on her decision.  She wanted a lunch date with Grandma and Grandpa, followed by a shopping trip to Hanna Andersson.  After weeks of anticipation, today was finally the day! We first went to Red Robin for lunch and then proceeded on to the store.  At first, she was very wide-eyed and a little overwhelmed—for this serious shopper and passionate Hanna Andersson fan, this was a big deal!  She told us what things were put together to make outfits in the catalog; I think it was a lot of fun for her to see the exact same things she has poured so many hours over in the catalog.  She went in with a very specific wish-list, but ended up changing it a bit to fit her budget. She was, however, able to get her very favorite dress that she has shown us many, many times.  This was a very special day for Franny, and such an extra-special Franny gift—nothing could have suited her better!
