It is a difficult thing when a baby is sick.  Poor Delaney has spent most of the last week with a cough and intermittent fever.  Today was the first day that we really saw a return of Miss D’s playful personality and her sweet, sweet smile.  She was also much more active, scooting around the house and even started pulling herself up on the laundry basket to check out what was inside—such an enormous effort, I felt a little bad that there wasn’t something more interesting than socks for her to see.  I am so relieved that she seems to be on the road to recovery and I am looking forward to a healthy week in our house.
