I love the fact that books and reading are such a big deal in our house. All the kids ask to be read to throughout the day, they also love to “read” to each other, and they spend a good deal of time enjoying books on their own. Everyday at naptime, Cole falls asleep looking at books and he also sleeps with them at night. Recently, Cole has started reading his favorite books to me, which I can’t get enough of! He loves it, too. It amazes me how many books they have memorized. Today was the first time that Cole and Delaney shared some book time together. It was short-lived as he didn’t like Delaney grabbing at the pages, but it was a nice start.

But, Delaney was so intrigued, she decided to have some book time of her own…
