Sadly, this was Franny’s last week of soccer class.  I enjoy watching Franny do all her activities, but I have particularly enjoyed this class.  Coach Tyler did such a great job interacting with the kids and getting them excited to play.  Compared to her previous class, there was less skill building, and more scrimmage play, which wasn’t the best for Franny—for whatever reason, she mainly just chased the ball and the other kids and didn’t try to kick the ball and play.  Although, she did always have a good time and always looked forward to going, which really is the main thing.  She has, however, decided that she wants to take another break from soccer, which is probably a good thing; our schedule is too full and Delaney needs to have a better opportunity to have a regular nap schedule.  But, if Franny decides she wants to play again we will find a way to make it work.  I really love that she is interested in different sports and asks to learn how to play them.  She is too young now, but I hope sometime when she is older that she will find a sport that she is passionate about.  For now, it’s all about fun and I look forward to the next thing that she decides she wants to learn.
