Franny and Cole don’t gradually wind down throughout the evening and ease into a relaxed bedtime.  Quite the opposite—these two get progressively more and more wound up, bounce off the walls, rough house, and are high energy up until the time their heads hit their pillows.  With this type of pattern, there are inevitably some snafus and sometimes—well actually, frequently—there are just amusing occurrences between these two goofy kids.  Tonight, while running around and playing, Franny somehow got her Traders Joe Lollipop tangled up in her hair.  In the process of getting it out, she lost a fair amount of hair.  Heading up for a bath to get her hair washed, Franny was in borderline hysterics.  Was she upset from her hair being pulled out with her TJ pop?  No—she was upset because I threw it away and she wanted Cole to take a bath too!  We did give her another lollipop that she had during her bath, because it was so late.  Cole, not to be excluded, pretended that he had another lollipop, too.  These are crazy kids!
